Agreement
These Terms of Sale govern purchases from Maison.Ox.Privé. Placing an order, creating an account, or using the site means you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not order. In the United States this page is the equivalent of a public offer: the contract is formed when we accept your order, usually by charging the card and sending a confirmation.
The Maison is a private club. Catalog access may require approval. We may refuse, cancel, or limit an order, including after payment, if a piece is unavailable, mispriced, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we refund the amount paid for that piece.
Products and limits
Descriptions, photographs, and measurements are prepared with care. Vintage and pre-owned pieces may show honest age. Colors vary by screen. We do not warrant that a piece will meet a personal taste or a third-party appraisal after sale, except for the return rights on the Returns page and any warranty the law does not allow us to limit.
You must be 18 or older. You may not resell our content or use the site for any unlawful purpose.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Maison.Ox.Privé is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits. Our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some states do not allow these limits. In those states, our liability is limited to the maximum the law permits. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for injury we cannot disclaim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in New York have exclusive venue, except where a consumer-protection statute requires otherwise. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
